Nothing says "Elegant" quite as boldly as a French Provincial Vanity table. Add some dainty Peach, Lilac, and Rose florals on 3 Raspberry / Sage striped decoupaged drawer fronts and you have the base of a lovely Dessert or Refreshments table ready to fall into place.

1) Paint Your Own Table? GREYSTONE Saves the DAY!
Starting with a basecoat of Vermont Chalky Paint Greystone, this French Provincial Vanity was drizzled with Graphite, wiped with a baby wipe and Clear Coated. We then decoupaged the drawer fronts with the napkins with a peek-a-boo side for a sweet surprise inside.

Not a do-it-yourselfer? You can purchase this beautiful French Provincial Table for your wedding and have it shipped FREE!

2) Centerpieces? MINI-JUG-LAMPS Paint 'n Sip Party
If you've taken a peek at flower shops, you'll see how fast centerpieces and bouquets can really add up. Our Show Your Jugs Paint 'n Sip parties kill 2 birds with one stone - a fun activity for your bridal party and a real money-saver.

Our paint is housed in half-pint and quart jugs that we re-purpose into these sweet decorative mini-tea jug lamps. Whether keepsakes as centerpieces on your guests' tables or set on lifts of sweet wooden boxes painted in Vermont Lilac, decoupaged with the florals, these mini-lamps are a great paint 'n sip activity for your bridal shower. Each Mini-Jug Lamp kit comes with materials to make 3 jug lamps. A portion of proceeds help the cancer patient support groups in the communities we serve.

Now that you have the table and some Mini Jug Lamps, it's time to give some interest! We used a simple 3-shelved pine folding shelf painted in Greystone to hold our Mini-Jug Lamps, a sugar bowl and some candy jars we'll fill with Hugs and Hershey Kisses. A silver bowl from Dollar Tree flipped over holds the glass pitcher with spicket for ice water.

Not ready to take out a second mortgage to pay for the bar? A punch bowl and ice water with lemon slices is a great way to keep your guests hydrated and dress up your Refreshments Table. Giving lots of variety adds fun to your celebration and makes it easier for your guests who don't partake in the cash bar.

We picked these Hydrangeas last fall and use them over and over again for various decorations. They naturally have those peachy/raspberry hues that are picked up in the paper. We've tucked some in the drawers, a couple in the punch glasses and rested a few near the sugar bowl.

How do you START?
A lot of times, a piece of fabric (or in this case, a simple napkin...) can provide inspiration for the entire color palette. Start with the fabric first and build from there with your choice of paints, colors and styles. But the most important thing to remember? It's YOUR wedding - have FUN!
