This Eastlake Dresser and mirror came into the shop with a broken mirror, scratched top and drawers that had the handles bent in weird directions. A lot of lookers, but no buyers for this piece, so I got to work updating it to fit into a farmhouse - neutral tone pallette. I'm in LOVE with the results! Here's how I did it: (materials list below the video.)
BUY Statehouse White ProPack
BUY Fireside Ebony Stain
BUY Baby wipes
1) SHAKE YOUR JUGS of paint vigorously before applying paint
2) Clean surface. Apply Statehouse White basecoat with round brush (PROVIDED) Let dry completely before applying next coat.
3) Using the foam brush,(PROVIDED) apply the Cocoa Cafe drizzle (PROVIDED.) Immediately wipe with a baby wipe for desired effect.
For darker Glaze, mix 1 part Fireside Ebony (NOT included) with 2 parts Cocoa Cafe.
4) When piece has COMPLETELY dried, appy Clear Coat (PROVIDED) a non-toxic substitute for Polyurethane. Enjoy!
